- Why we started Vigilant Bytes - Bala and Booni started Vigilant Bytes after seeing the same problem play out again and again: small and mid-sized businesses being priced out of SOC 2 attestation-readiness. Traditional SOC2 readiness compliance consultants often charge tens of thousands of dollars just to help a company prepare for its audit — work that many growing businesses simply can't justify.

He brings 20+ years of enterprise program leadership, DevSecOps strategy, from organizations including Pearson, First Republic Bank (acquired by JPMorgan Chase)
Bala founded Vigilant Bytes LLC to make SOC 2 attestation-readiness achievable for small and mid-sized businesses — without the price tag of traditional SOC 2 readiness companies. He brings 20+ years of enterprise program leadership, DevSecOps strategy, from organizations including Pearson, First Republic Bank (acquired by JPMorgan Chase) and Xerox. He holds certifications including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio University along with executive education from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business

She holds a Computer Engineering degree from San Jose State University.
